(BLOOMINGTON) - A young Bloomington man is facing felony charges related to a stabbing incident that occurred Monday night.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports police found a 32-year-old man bloodied on 12th Street Monday night, reporting he had been stabbed by a man identified only as "Jay." The victim was taken to Bloomington Hospital for treatment.
After responding to another related incident, police eventually found 20-year-old Jay Koerner in an apartment, and also found a kitchen-type knife, and took him into custody.
Koerner was taken to Monroe County jail charged with battery with a deadly weapon.
