(BEDFORD) - Bedford police have been spending a lot of time working with the Lawrence County coroner investigating unattended deaths this week.
So far, 3 people have been found dead in their homes in the Stone City this week, two of which were on the same day.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley said one was a natural death, and the other two had other causes.
One of those deaths by "other causes" was the most recent, 37-year-old Larry Arnold of Bedford, who was found dead early yesterday morning.
Parsley says that all unattended deaths have to be treated as suspicious until proven otherwise, but that no foul play has been discovered in any of them.
Parsley then alluded to the urban legend that notable deaths come in sets of three, saying he hoped Arnold was the "last one."
