(BEDFORD) - The City of Bedford will be exploring a number of amendments and ordinances at tonight’s city council meeting.
Items on tonight's agenda include amending the Lawrence County Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan, establishing a schedule for planning, zoning and building fees, amending part of the city's traffic schedule, as well as part of the two-hour parking ordinance.
A major item up for discussion, however, will be an ordinance allowing Mayor Shawna Girgis and Clerk-Treasurer Julie Blackwell-Chase to make loans in anticipation of upcoming revenues.
The public meeting will be tonight at Bedford City Hall at 7:00pm.
