(COLUMBUS) - Columbus-based Cummins has announced the involuntary layoff of 115 hourly employees in Southern Indiana.
The company says 75 of the workers are at the Columbus operation and the other 40 in Seymour.
Cummins has also announced that it has reduced its professional staff in Indiana by another 222 as part of a worldwide reduction of approximately 985 workers announced last month.
