The projects all include water-related work, either in terms of water treatment or infrastructure.
The closest approval being nearly $3.5 million in interest-free loans to Jackson County for wells, storage and mains.
Nearby Dugger, in far-eastern Sullivan County, was approved for $320,000 for a wastewater treatment plant.
Other communities approved for the almost $36 million total include Madison, Peru, Brownsburg, Rensselaer, Mount Vernon and others.
