(BEDFORD) - A jump start attempt in Bedford ended when one person was pinned between the two vehicles, and then taken to the hospital.
Bedford police reports say 25-year-old Chad Martin of Bedford was in his truck in his driveway on 5th Street, charging the battery of another car in the driveway, while 54-year-old Rick Martin of Bedford was in between.
According to the report, Martin says his foot slipped off the clutch, lurching the truck forward into the other car, with the elder Martin in between.
Rick Martin was taken by personal vehicle with leg pain to Bedford Regional Medical Center for treatment.
