(MEDORA) - Police in Jackson County probably didn’t know that pulling over a woman in Medora for a dead headlight would turn into such an event.
The Seymour Tribune reports a Jackson County deputy noticed a small pickup driving north of Medora with a headlight out, and turned his lights on to make a stop. However, the officer reportedly noticed suspicious behavior from the passenger when following them.
Eventually, the officer would stop the truck, find a light bulb under the seat used for smoking meth, and found 0.5 grams of meth on the passenger, 32-year-old Michelle Root of Medora.
Root was arrested, the man driving the truck was cited and released.
