(UNDATED) - Wednesday’s snowy weather, combined with ice already on area roadways, made for dangerous road conditions Thursday morning.
Though Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News his department didn't have many accidents to deal with, Lawrence County police were a bit busier.
Bedford and Mitchell Police logs show only a couple accidents worked by each department, but Lawrence County logs show more than 10 had to be handled, three of which in a seeming chain reaction on IN-37 near Dillon Rd.
Starting tomorrow, snow and ice will get a chance to melt with highs in the mid 30s tomorrow, high 40s for Friday, and mid 50s with rain on Saturday.
