(BLOOMFIELD) - A pair of area teenagers were arrested late last week for a series of burglaries in the Greene County area dating back through last year.
According to a probable cause affidavit provided by the Greene County Sheriff's Department, 18-year-old Matthew Jacobs of Spencer and 19-year-old Samuel Summerville of Bloomfield are both being held in the Greene County jail on a series of charges.
Police allege Summerville took part in three robberies of the Scotland Snapper Shop this past winter, as well as the burglaries of the home of a family friend, and that Jacobs helped him on one of them, which ended when he stepped on a board full of nails.
Jacobs is being held on $10,000 bond on a single burglary count.
Summerville faces 3 counts of burglary of a structure, 2 of burglary of a residence and 4 of theft, and is being held on $76,000 bond.
