(BEDFORD) - A middle-aged Bedford man is behind bars after people allege he threatened them with a black-powder, muzzle-loading pistol.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News 58-year-old Lester Treece of Bedford is facing charges of pointing a firearm, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest by force after the Friday night incident.
A 27-year-old male told police Treece threatened both to shoot the people in the home along with a stuffed deer head that was mounted on the wall.
After being forcibly subdued by police because of his reported resistance, Treece was taken to the Lawrence County jail.
