(BEDFORD) - The Bedford post of the Salvation Army is getting backed up against the clock in a fundraising effort to gain grant money to help the recently unemployed.
Major JoAnn Ashcraft of the Bedford Salvation Army says they are trying to raise $9,000 in donations in order to qualify for an $18,000 grant from the Midwest chapter.
However, they have to raise this money by Thursday, March 12th.
If you would like to help out or donate, call the Bedford Salvation Army at (812) 275-5429.
Major Ashcraft says all the money will remain in our community.
