(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington police detectives are investigating a bank robbery, the third to occur at the same bank branch since July of last year.
Bloomington's Capt. Joe Qualters says the People's State Bank on Bloomington's east side Clarizz Boulevard was knocked over around 11:30am yesterday morning.
A man came into the bank, did not display a weapon, but demanded money. The man received a currently undisclosed amount of money, and took off running north toward 3rd Street, and police couldn't find him.
The man in question is described as a light-skinned black male, about 5'11", medium build, last seen wearing dark, athletic pants with a white stripe down the side and dark athletic shoes with white markings.
