(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe County prosecutors have filed juvenile charges against a 16-year-old boy who was shot by a Bloomington police officer when he lunged at the officer with a knife.
The boy spent four days in the hospital recovering from gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen.
The shooting took place near the bus terminal in downtown Bloomington.
