(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Hospital and Clarian Health Partners are expected to announce a partnership in the campus town this morning.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports the two organizations will sign an agreement this morning which will lead to an 18-month regional planning process and, both sides hope, an eventual, full-fledged partnership.
Bloomington Hospital runs its own facility in B-Town as well as a satellite hospital in Paoli.
Clarian runs a number of hospitals, mostly in Indianapolis including the IU Hospital, as well as the Bedford Regional Medical Center.
This announcement comes just months after an effort to join with Dunn Memorial Hospital, and merge it with BRMC, ended in failure.
