(BLOOMFIELD) - A Greene County man is facing charges after hitting a parked vehicle near Bloomfield.
Greene County police reports say 24-year-old David Stewart Jr. of Bloomfield was heading west on CR635 South when, as he tells police, a white truck came the other way in his lane, he swerved to miss it, and struck another vehicle at Harper's Garage.
County police say Stewart left the scene and went home, so someone would pick him up, as he suffered a cut to his hand.
Eventually, police found him and found that he had alcohol in his system but was below the legal limit.
Police still arrested him, though, charging him with driving while suspended with a prior and leaving the scene of an accident.
Stewart told police he "just forgot" to call police.
