(GREENE COUNTY) - A Jasonville man was hospitalized after a wreck resulting from his being a seemingly polite motorist.
The Greene County Sheriff's Department reports say 44-year-old Jimmy Lee Johnson of Jasonville was headed west on IN-48 on his motor scooter when a car approached him from behind.
Johnson reportedly moved over to the right to let the faster vehicle pass by, but scooted over too far, and struck the guardrail with his right knee.
That caused him to roll the scooter over, fall on his right side and slide on the pavement.
Johnson was taken to Greene County General Hospital and treated for injuries to his leg, face and hands.
