(WASHINGTON, DC) - Although the vote was scheduled for yesterday, the confirmation vote in the us senate for Indiana University professor Dawn Johnsen has been pushed back until today.
The Senate's website last night said the vote was pushed due to other items on the Senate's agenda.
Johnsen was nominated earlier this year by President Barack Obama to be Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel, and passed through the Senate Judiciary Committee last week on an 11-7 party-line vote.
