(BLOOMINGTON) - A Martinsville biker had to be airlifted to Indianapolis after wiping out on Monroe County’s IN-46.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports Martinsville resident Randy Miller hit a truck that pulled into his path and then struck a guardrail, causing multiple injuries.
The paper says Michael Turpin of Bloomington was driving the truck that pulled in front of him causing the accident. Miller was apparently part of a group of biker's from Martinsville's American Legion post that was testing out a riding route they were planning for spring.
Miller was originally taken to Bloomington Hospital, then flown to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
The paper says he was not wearing a helmet.
