(NASHVILLE) - A psychological evaluation has been ordered for the 13-year-old facing murder charges in Brown County.
The Bloomington Herald Times reports the Brown Circuit Court has ordered a psych evaluation of 13-year-old blade Reed before making a decision as to whether he should be tried as an adult or a juvenile.
A school psychologist, who has already worked with Reed, testified in the hearing that the boy has emotional and learning problems, and has the cognitive capacity of a 10-year-old.
Reed, along with his 17-year-old brother Bennie, is facing charges in relation to the murder of 84-year-old Richard Voland, and the shooting of his 77-year-old wife Mary.
