(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Police Department are seeking the public’s help in finding a man wanted for holding a Bedford woman in her home at gunpoint.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News 29-year-old Matthew D. Robbins allegedly attacked and confined a woman a gunpoint in her home, and then fled the scene.
Parsley says Robbins was armed with a medium to large, silver-framed semi-automatic pistol, and was already wanted on another previous warrant from Lawrence County.
Robbins is described as a white male, 5'8" tall, 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. You can see an image of Robbins by scrolling down.
If you see Robbins, or know where he may be, Parsley asks you to call law enforcement.
BPD does consider the man to be "armed and dangerous."
