(BEDFORD) - Students from Bedford North Lawrence will be heading back to Leatherwood Creek next Monday behind the school’s soccer fields to test water quality as has been a tradition over he past few years.
The program, partially sponsored by General Motors' "GM Green" program, has 35 BNL students, their teacher, and a number of other public officials at the creek testing water pollution levels.
Representatives from the Indiana DNR, Sycamore Land Trust, and the Lawrence County Soil and Water Conservation District among others will be on hand.
