(BEDFORD) - Bedford police are seeking the driver in a hit-and-run that sent a Bedford moped rider to the hospital.
Bedford police reports say the department was called by the Dunn Hospital ER saying 22-year-old Zachary Wray of Bedford was struck on his moped at 14th and O Streets by a car that then took off.
The rear of Wray's moped was clipped by a car that reportedly rolled through the stop sign, throwing Wray from his scooter and causing injuries to his head, neck, back and right leg. Wray drove himself to the hospital and police are looking for the driver.
The car is described as a gray Pontiac Sunfire whose license plate may end in the numbers "64."
