(BEDFORD) - Bedford police were called to the Hideaway Lounge early Sunday morning to a fight call, and found a man hiding underneath a pool table.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News Hideaway staff decided 26-year-old Gregory Burton of Bedford was too intoxicated and cut him off, causing Burton to become reportedly belligerent.
Bedford officers arrived after several 911 calls and found Burton hiding underneath a pool table and had to forcibly remove him from his, well, hideaway.
Burton reportedly became physically difficult and had to be literally carried to the squad car, and was taken to the Lawrence County jail charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest by force.
