(UNDATED) - The two university races that herald the start of racing season in Indiana were held under perfect weather conditions Saturday.
The Cutters won the 59th running of the Little 500 bicycle race in Bloomington for the third year in a row. Pi Beta Phi won the 22nd Women's Little 500 for the first time ever.
In West Lafayette, Travis Iles won the 52nd Annual Purdue Grand Prix go-kart race.
The Purdue senior led for 121 laps of the 160 lap event that was held for the first time on a new race course.
