(MARTINSVILLE) - A father and his young son were killed Sunday after their truck crashed into Indian Creek.
The crash happened on IN-37 near Martinsville. Police said the man lost control, hit a guard rail and flipped his truck into the creek.
A tow truck cable broke the first time rescuers tried to pull the vehicle from the creek.
When they reconnected the cable, they were able to pull the truck out of the water far enough to see the two victims inside.
