(OOLITIC) - A seemingly minor rear-end accident has five people claiming injuries.
The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department reports say 44-year-old Carl Weber of Bedford was headed south on IN-37 when he came to the Patton Hill traffic light near Oolitic, and had to slow down for traffic yesterday afternoon.
Shortly after, though, 18-year-old Tera McDaniel of Marion, Kentucky slid on the wet pavement, rear-ending Weber's small pickup truck. Weber complained of pain to his neck and was taken for examination by a private vehicle.
McDaniel and her 3 passengers, 20-year-old Tyler Richardson, 15-year-old Timothy Baker and 14-year-old Ashley Baker, all from Louisville, all complained of minor injuries and were able to be taken for a once-over by private vehicle.
