(UNDATED) - Freeze warnings persist throughout the listening area again through 10:00am this morning.
The National Weather Service says below-freezing temps over the night had the potential to kill crops and other plant life in the area, however, temps are expected to get back to a much more spring like 61 by this afternoon.
Additionally, flood warnings along the White River are continuing, in some areas, until next week.
NWS hydrologists say Newberry is under warning until Monday with river levels possible 6 feet over flood stage.
The river near Elliston could get just over 6 feet above by tonight and then begin to fall.
In Seymour, flood warnings continue until Friday morning with a crest expected just over 2 feet above flood stage.
And finally, in Spencer, levels almost 5 feet over are expected by late tonight, with a flood warning in effect until Saturday night.
