Four Arrested After Unusual Incident At Bedford McDonald's

Last updated on Tuesday, April 21, 2009

(BEDFORD) - Four people were arrested last night at the Bedford McDonald’s in a somewhat unusual incident.

Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News the department was called by employees of the fast food restaurant about two intoxicated men in the store and two more sitting outside in a car.

Officers arrived and first found 22-year-old Jade Sanders of Mitchell and 23-year-old Rachelle Johnson of Bedford in a black Honda in the parking lot.

Parsley says officers encountered resistance when they got them out of the car and around that time one of the men in the store came out to see what was going on while the other remained inside eating.

Eventually, 31-year-old Eric Walther of Mitchell and 26-year-old William Hill of Bedford, along with the other two were arrested for public intoxication.

Sanders and Johnson also face resisting arrest charges, and drug paraphernalia charges are pending against Sanders.
