(BLOOMINGTON) - State police from the Bloomington district hit the road and conducted a saturation patrol Friday night that netted some notable results.
State Police Sgt. Curt Durnil says state troopers picked up 10 drunk drivers and issued citations and made arrests for at least 21 other alcohol related offenses, including underage drinking.
Additionally, 62 traffic violations and 70 warnings were written, and a total of 27 criminal arrests were made.
The effort went throughout the Bloomington District which, along with Monroe, includes Lawrence, Greene, Owen and Brown Counties.
