(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University Police Department officers helped make for a happier Easter for an IU foodservice employee.
IUPD Captain Jerry Minger says officers were called to the Forest Quad kitchen on the southeast corner of the campus early Easter morning to a report of an unresponsive individual on the floor.
Officers arrived and started CPR until another officer could grab an external defibrillator.
Once they hooked the defibrillator up to the patient, they were able to bring the person back around.
At that point, Bloomington Hospital paramedics arrived and were able to transport the patient back to the hospital.
