(UNDATED) - The weather got a little hairy over the night, and some of its consequences will be felt over the weekend in some parts of the listening area.
Just after 7:00pm last night, the National Weather Service declared a tornado watch for most of the listening area.
Then, around midnight, NWS hydrologists recorded more than 2 inches of rain falling mostly in the western part of the listening area, declaring a small stream flood warning for western Lawrence, eastern Daviess and all of Martin County that expired early this morning.
Currently, the White River is under a flood warning in Greene, Daviess, and Owen Counties through most of the weekend, with flooding expected to begin late tonight.
Here in Lawrence County, we can expect gusty winds today, sunny skies tomorrow, rain on Sunday, and much colder temps with a chance of snow on Monday.
