(BLOOMINGTON) - A research and development center has been announced between Indiana University and a private company, and is set to become one of the first tenants in IU’s new incubator building on East 10th Street.
Persistent Systems, which claims to be a provider of outsourcing services, will help set up the center that is intended to develop informatics and life sciences ideas.
This is just another step in the State of Indiana's effort to bolster its image as a place for high-tech work, as manufacturing endeavors falter in the current economy.
