(BLOOMINGTON) - Yesterday was tax day, and a pretty good sales day, we imagine, for companies like Lipton, Luzianne and other tea manufacturers.
Dozens of "Tax Day Tea Bag Parties" were held throughout the nation protesting president Barack Obama's spending plans and taxes in general, including in Bloomington.
A couple hundred people showed up to the Showers Plaza in Bloomington, come wearing colonial dress, holding signs protesting spending and taxation, and even signing a "redress of grievances" against "excessive taxation" and "redistribution."
