(BLOOMINGTON) - An update on a story WBIW News originally reported on back in January, Indiana DNR scuba divers pulled a stolen truck out of Lake Monroe yesterday.
Divers had to wait until the ice thawed and water warmed up a bit before they could pull the late-model, full-size, four door GMC pickup out from the Moore's Creek area.
Back in mid January, WBIW News originally reported the truck was stolen from the Kerasotes Theater on 3rd Street and the last evidence of its existence was found when passersby found tire tracks in the snow that led to a hole in the ice at the Moore's Creek boat ramp.
So far, no reports of an arrest in the theft have been passed along to us.
