(UNDATED) - Two Hoosier mushroom hunters were rescued by authorities over the weekend in separate incidents of getting lost in the woods.
Indiana Department of Natural Resources officials say Sam Unsworth of Elkinsville became disoriented Sunday while hunting for mushrooms in the Hoosier National Forest.
He spent a rainy night in the woods before he was located Monday morning following a search by several fire departments and law enforcement agencies.
Another mushroom hunter, Nancy Prince of Bloomington, was located by a K-9 unit in the Paynetown Recreation Area shortly after becoming separated from her group.
