(BEDFORD) - Bedford police officers had another drunk driving arrest that tried to get away from them this morning.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tells WBIW News officers saw 22-year-old Jerad Tincher of Bedford make a U-turn on Brian Lane Way and decided to stop him near 13th and R Streets.
However, when they turned their lights on, Tincher didn't stop. Police chased him until Tincher struck the curb on 16th street near Q Street, and then he reportedly got out of the vehicle and took off running.
Police caught him quickly, taking him to Lawence County jail charged with drunk driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest by fleeing both by vehicle and on foot, and disregarding a stop sign.
