(BEDFORD) - It seems a developer is working hard to breathe new life into a mothballed Bedford facility…Visteon.
Inside Indiana Business reports Tri-County Builders and The Vision Group have been prepping the retired factory and office complex to serve the Stone City in the future. Now, what was once the Visteon Bedford manufacturing plant will soon become the East Gate Business and Technology Center.
The company's press release says they are working with the facility, more than anything, due to its proximity to Crane, Indiana University and other industrial and commercial centers, not to mention how close it is to IN-37.
The 340,000 square foot development is expected to house offices, labs, warehouses, manufacturing operations and other business setups.
Build to suit setups will also be offered for retail establishments as well as other flexible space considerations.
