(UNDATED) - Despite today being April 1st, there is a threat to your computer expected to go live today that only a fool would ignore.
The Conficker.c worm, a malicious computer program that tech professionals believe may have infected between 5 and 10 million computers up until this point is expected to carry out whatever duties have been assigned to it on this day.
Analysts still aren't sure what effect, if any, it may have, but past versions have caused plenty of internet havoc.
One way to see if you are safe, supposedly, is to see if you have received any automatic updates to your Windows operating system in the past month.
If you have, you should be okay.
