(BEDFORD) - A Bedford woman picked up more than she bargained for when she stopped at a local gas station on Tuesday night.
Violet Reynolds stopped at Farmers Market, located at the junction of SR-446 and US 50, Tuesday night to pick up a drink for her son's lunch the next day.
While at the store Reynolds decided to buy a Hot Winners scratch off ticket and immediately scratched it off.
It immediately paid off.
Reynolds won $100,000, and claimed her prize yesterday at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis.
She plans to pay off her oldest son's tuition, and help her parents build a garage.
