(BEDFORD) - Starting on this coming Monday May 18th the City of Bedford will require all applicants for hand gun permits to start the application process online.
Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley tell wbiw.com that applicants can visit one of two sites to start your application process, either www.aries.in.gov, or by visiting the Indiana State Police website at www.in.gov/isp.
Those sites will not begin accepting applications until Monday.
After filling out your application, you will then have to visit local law enforcement to finish filling out your paperwork and be fingerprinted.
Parsley also tells us that the rates will stay the same and you will still be able to purchase the 4 year or lifetime permit.
