(GREENE CO.) - Two people are dead after a head on collision in Greene County on Saturday evening.
According to the Greene County Sheriff's Department, 19 year old Preston Willams of Bloomington was traveling on SR 43 in his 1978 Chevrolet Camaro when he attempted to pass a car, also traveling southbound.
As he attempted the pass he struck a motorcycle traveling in the northbound lane head-on.
The driver of the motorcycle, 40 year old Jerry Marker of Solsberry was killed instantly.
After impact both vehicles caught fire.
The Camaro rolled down an embankment and came to rest on its roof.
The lone passenger in the Camaro 19 year old Jessica Allman of Bloomington was pronounced dead at Bloomington Hospital.
Williams was transported to Methodist Hospital for multiple injuries.
It is believed that neither person in the Camaro were wearing seatbelts.
