(BEDFORD) - Bedford City Police received an interesting phone call at around noon on Sunday from The Cutters Restaurant building on the downtown square.
The caller said she came outside to water the flower beds by the sidewalk and discovered a large amount of blood and a pair of shoes on the sidewalk.
Come to find out that earlier that morning at 2:17 AM BPD received a 9/11 call for an ambulance from a caller saying that their was a man laying on the ground beside a white pick-up truck with a broken ankle from falling off of the sidewalk, the man was sent by ambulance to the hospital, clean-up crews were later called to clean up the scene.
