(WHEATLAND) - The body of a missing elderly Greene County woman was found Tuesday morning in Knox County.
The body of 93 year old Esther Risher was found along the West Fork of the White River near Wheatland around a week after she was reported missing by her family.
According to reports from crime scene technicians it is believed that Risher had been dead for at least four days.
Due to local flooding of the White River, Risher's vehicle was not noticed until water receded and a local resident went back into the area and found the disabled vehicle.
It is believed that Risher drover her car down a private river lane towards some cabins until her vehicle became disabled in the mud.
Her body was found approximately 100 feet from her car.
An autopsy will be performed on Risher, and foul play is not suspected.
