(BEDFORD) - The semi wreck taking place on the overpass of Highway 37on the south end of Bedford Wednesday was caused by a black or dark blue sedan also traveling with the semi up and over the overpass.
The driver of the sedan was driving in the right lane, the semi in the left, as they went around the curve.
The semi driver, Ashley Payne explained that the sedan began to pull into the left lane, his lane, as if he was not aware that their was a semi truck their.
Payne swerved to the left to avoid getting hit by the sedan and possibly hurting the other driver.
The sudden turned caused the trailer to overturn, spilling out a load of gypsum rock that it was carrying.
The sedan continued driving away.
The witness of the incident another truck driver working for the same company over heard Payne on the truck radio "that's not good, he's coming in my lane".
Payne was not injured in the wreck and was out walking around at the scene.
