(ELLETSVILLE) - Tuesday night Officer Chad Liersch of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was working on a drug bust case of manufacturing methamphetamine.
Officer Liersch contacted Trooper Joshua Allen of the Indiana State Police and after working together, they were both able to confirm probable cause information and obtain a search warrant for 705 Hanover Glen in Elletsville.
Deputy Liersch and Sergeant Troy Thomas of Monroe County Sheriff's Office along with several state troopers searched through the residence and discovered many items consistent with the manufacture methamphetamine.
27-year-old Dustin Baughman was charged with eight different charges including manufacturing of methamphetamine, Possession of paraphernalia, and taking a child to a drug manufacture.
Two children ages 2 and 7 at the home where the meth was made.
The mother 24-year-old Cathy Lee Baughman was charged with the neglect of a dependent.
The two children were taken into child protective services.
