(BEDFORD) - Despite the bad weather today, local Bedford farmer’s market vendors stood their ground against the forces of nature in the Thorton Park shelter house.
Marvin Atchison, one of the farmer's market board director's said "yeah we usually do tough it out with the weather, although today we almost chickened out" Linda Mciver stated "at least it's nice and warm".
The Bedford Farmers Market will soon be open at different times to make it easier for buyers to come and shop.
Beginning June 25th they will be open on Thursday evenings from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM in addition to Tuesday's and Saturday's which is from 8:00 AM until noon.
Buyers can pick-up a variety of things, such as hand-made baby blankets and table runners, and all sorts of vegetables.
