(NASHVILLE) - Elementary and middle students attending Camp Steele, a summer day camp in Nashville will be exploring what inspired a group of Hoosier artists today.
The kids will be hiking and exploring the beauty of nature and will paint their own nature scenes, as well as participate in an art show.
The camp is every Friday, last Friday they took a tour of T.C. Steele's studio.
T.C. Steele was a painter known for his Indiana landscapes, one of paintings sold for $220,000 in 2004.
The camp takes place on the 2,000 acres his famed "House of the Singing Winds" was built on.
