(CRAWFORD COUNTY) - A motorcycle accident in Crawford county Sunday afternoon has put one woman in the hospital.
Indiana State Police reported that at approximately 2:05 in the afternoon John Swift and Tara Holland, Tara sitting in back, were riding on state road 62 west of Leavenworth, Indiana when their red 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle went over an embankment.
The driver, Swift, refused treatment obtaining only minor injuries, however, the passenger, Tara Holland was airlifted to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville for a broken arm and head trauma.
Police officials determined that the combination of fast speeds and improper training in the driving of the motorcycle caused the wreck.
