According to a Bedford Police Department report, Randy Gentry was stopped in the eastbound lane of 16th street waiting to turn into Swifty gas station.
A vehicle driven by Jeffery Hamilton also traveling in the eastbound lane was approaching Gentry's car when he rear ended Gentry's vehicle.
Hamilton stated that he was having trouble seeing because of the glare coming off of Gentry's vehicle, and by the time he realized gentry had stopped it was too late.
Hamilton was uninjured in the accident, however Gentry and his passenger, Ruth Gentry both complained of neck pain and were transported by ambulance to Bedford Regional Medical Center.
