Highway Closing Now Open

(SPRINGVILLE) — A tree fallen on top of a group of electrical wires closed highway 54 near Springville earlier this morning.

The tree reportedly fell at around 9:45 AM this morning.

Electrical crews were called to the scene where police officials had closed the highway.

The highway was reopened at around 12:30 PM.

So far, reports only indicate that the highway closing involved only a fallen tree.

(SPRINGVILLE) - Highway 54 around the Springville area is closed at this time due to a fallen tree. The tree reportedly fell on top of a group of power lines at around 9:45 AM.

The electric company is in motion to repair the wires at this time. So far, all that county reports indicate is that the incident involved only a fallen tree.
